John Cage Meets Sun Ra

On 8th June, 1986 a historic meeting between legendary composers John Cage and Sun Ra took place on Coney Island, New York as part of Sideshows by the Seashore. The performance is based around the contrast of improvisations and songs by Sun Ra, and vocals based on Cage’s composition methods.
