Julia Holter (Live) at (Le) Poisson Rouge

Julia Holter was one of 2011′s stand out artists, releasing the universally loved LP ‘Tragedy’ on Leaving Records. Her sound mixes pop and more experimental sounds – built around her impressive and harrowing vocals, set upon a backdrop of lush drones, swirling synthesisers and steady percussion. This week saw her release her newest LP, ‘Ekstasis’ on RVNG Intl.
